I have plantar fasciitis. My Bite Orthosport sandals have died and there are no replacements. I bought this sandal out of desperation and packed heaps of tape - expecting to have to tape my feet to deal with the expected discomfort. I put in three weeks walking and hiking close to two African countries and I never ever utilized the tape. Nor did I unpack my hiking boots. It is the most comfortable sandal I have at any time worn, bar none.

I have to walk daily for my health, My feet just get too hot in sneakers and my other sandals don't give sufficient support, my new Eccos feel wonderful no strain on my ft or legs, I feel practically as if I have been barefoot, they just function great for me, PS I am a senior citizen.

I 1st observed these sandals on my neighbor, and liked them correct absent. I asked her if they have been comfy, and she informed me she had just worn them for 5 days straight in Disney World! I observed them at Onlineshoes.com, and the ratings agreed with my neighbor. I ordered them and have worn them constantly for two weeks. I adore these sandals! They look fantastic and really feel like an air-conditioned sneaker. I will have to say that, for me at the very least, they necessary a minor breaking-in. At initially, the arch was so large that it imposed a bit into my heel area, but this appears to have practically completely diminished. I no more time notice it when walking, but nonetheless discover it a tiny when I stand nonetheless for a handful of minutes. I contemplate this a strolling shoe, and I have to admit, I have in no way owned a sandal that was a strolling shoe -- not even my Birkies. If I had to criticize these shoes in any way, I would say that the footbed at times feels marginally tacky, and tacky is truly also robust a word. This is in no way stating that the shoe rubs or grabs, only that I am from time to time aware of the foot bed for a few minutes right here and there. My husband ordered a pair, based mostly on my raves about this shoe. His just arrived, and so much, he concurs with my praise. One final thing. I typically wear a size eight full-coverage shoe. I have a extensive foot, and can sometimes wear a seven one/two vast. Because I was not going to wear socks with this shoe, I ordered it in a 38 (US 7 to 7 1/two). Maybe simply because of the adjustability of the straps, the size is just right. If you are involving measurements, I would recommend ordering downward on size. I extremely advocate this fantastic sandal!

I bought these in advance of heading to Italy and they were comfortable right away. Didn't have to break them in. They were good on cobblestone pavement, for hiking and in museums. Also could dip my feet in the drinking water to awesome off and they nevertheless looked fine. Maybe not for gown up but I in no way even wore the other footwear I introduced with me.

My husband has now bought 3 generations of this sandal - he swears by it. He convinced me to try it this time - and now I know I as well will carry on to obtain this sandal when it wears out. From the moment you place it on it is the most unbelievably comfy sandal I have ever before owned - you can walk and hike for hours instantly. Only downside is that I would not where them when you have to hike as a result of h2o. While it is not precisely a trendy shoe, if comfort is what you are looking for (e.g., a trip overseas involving a lot of walking), this is the shoe for you.
