Tank Trinkets
Hello everyone, my name is Shane, I live in Los Angeles and I have
been a fish enthusiast/hobbyist for over 20 years now. I mostly
have tetra type tanks now and thoroughly enjoy the hobby and talking
with those who enjoy it as well.
I enjoy it so much that it has turned into a very small side
business for me, www.tanktrinkets.com. Over the years I got to be known amongst my friends as the guy who holds the orphans (buddies who could not make it home for the holiday's) Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. The reason I bring that up is it was difficult to get into the holiday spirit when you are cooking a turkey in your shorts and t-shirt because it is 75 degrees outside (I know what the heck does this
have to do with fish). So in an attempt to infuse some of the
holiday spirit in my home I went decorating crazy and wanted to do
the same for my fish tanks. Well after some exhaustive searching I
realized no one made decorations for our aquatic friends. The
business is extremely small, me, and it is a labor of love more than
anything.
All of Tank Trinkets products are made out of ceramic and are painted with non-toxic paints. I have never had one of my fish, or anyone else's who has one of my designs, hurt by the product. I have a wide range of items that work with tank sizes from 2 gallon to 50 gallon and up. They have been in my tanks for about a year now and have had no
problems what so ever.
